The real story is that this is a woman-owned business with a focus on taking care of the community. Jennifer’s roots go back to growing up in Wilmington, NC (and Wrightsville Beach) where she lived through her fair share of hurricanes. Hurricane Fran ravaged NC when her family lived on the intracoastal waterway. Her family had to retrieve their staircase out of a tree and reattach it so they could get back inside to survey the damage.

Fast forward to today, having just lived through a huge flood in an office building (complete with water pouring out of the doors), Jennifer sees how important a good partner can be in the mitigation and recovery after a disaster. Unfortunately, that’s hard to find.

Fixed-NC was born out of an opportunity to partner with Mike Mullis to offer the unique combination of skill and heart to the property care and repair business.

Jennifer and her husband, Alan, have two kids, ages 19 and 16. After spending the first part of her career in operations management at Wachovia, and then Marketing at IBM and Vignette, she is thrilled to be able to do her heart’s calling…helping others.

Kevin Matthews has more than 32 years in the plumbing and property repair business, and he truly takes customer care to a higher level. With Kevin’s help and partnership, Fixed-NC FNC) has pivoted in 2022 to primarily service properties for plumbing and gas needs. We have extensive experience with both commercial and residential, and both new and existing construction.

Kevin’s deep skills across trades, along with his tremendous work ethic and dedication, has enabled him to establish long-lasting business relationships with honest subcontractors. These partnerships help enable us to offer outstanding service to our clients, and on a select basis, we are able to offer full property restoration services.

When he’s not working with clients, Kevin enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and playing corn hole.
